Girls (& guys... ), if you are SK-Ⅱ users, please... please... please stop using it.
Lately, China government has discovered 12 products (including its magical whitening mask) has dangerous ingredient to human.
It was only 9 products discovered last week. Today, there is another 3 considered dangerous (I think because of their ignorant attitude of not wanting to recall the products and also not wanting to take down the products from shelf pissed off the china government).
An excerp from news:
市食药监局向“宝洁”通报对本地市场监督抽检SK-Ⅱ系列化妆品的结果为：SK-Ⅱ清透防晒乳液等12种产品中均含铬，其中五种还含有钕。较国家质监总局此前公布的9种“问题”产品，上海此次抽检出的含铬产品增加了3个品种：SK-Ⅱ护肤洁面霜、SK-Ⅱ活肤抗皱修护膜和SK-Ⅱ重点净白精华液。12种产品中检出的铬含量在0.18mg/kg至4.86mg/kg之间。根据我国《化妆品卫生标准》规定，化妆品中不能含有铬、钕等禁用物质。
I think, P&G is pretty screwed up this time. They created so many obstacle for the users here to get the refund, and also asked them to sign a very unfair agreemment, the content is :“此处理方案为本案例一次性终结处理”. Signing that contract while you getting the refund, means that SK-II 经营者免除了自身的责任、排除了消费者今后求得损失赔偿的权利.
If you using SK-II, check with the counter whether it is from the same batch as the China products (heard it was manufactured in Japan?). Get refund if possible, don't use your face to 赌博。
I wonder if my beloved Dior product has dangerous material inside also?? .....

heard this news too. But we are safe in Malaysia, SKII counter as usual like selling nasi lemak, serounded by customers, they just pass the picking list to beauty advisor. We are a "OK" over here.
Just because people are still buying it, it is OK?
By the way Deisy, it's not "ignorant attitude", it's irresponsible or unethical attitude. The customers themselves are ignorant.
Women should really reflect on themselves whether they need this stuff. You are eroding your skin away with chemicals.

true enough, Is China SKII not the same with the rest of the world?
I stop using SKII years ago because I realise that my skin is too thin, and was sensative towards other products.
sometimes, we as consumer seriously need to be "smarter" ..
Now a day, we are not only applying chemical on our skin, indeed everbody are eating it too, with all the preservative, coloring, instant food ... are we still eating ? yes, everybody doing it. Bali, US, Thailand, Indonesia, Philipines, not safe at all, are ppl still visiting? yes they are. Damn it! we all stupid, need to be "smarter".
ichogo, we still need facial products despite they are all chemicals, must present nice face to your hubby or bf mah. hehehe;) It is a kind of li3 yi2.
As we women are aging, I realized we need to do more facial and to take care of our skin. It is eroding much faster without these chemical stuff neh~~~ sob sob... u men won't understand our fu-chong lah~~~

I was guessing perhaps is some 'political' reason... perhaps someone in the company pissed the government off... who knows. haha.. wild guess;)
btw, since yesterday, all SK-II counters are not operating in China anymore, temporary they said.
