最近在看一本小说，《嫁入豪门〉，是一个上海女人写的。
里面剧情很娱乐性。也有真实性，比如她说上海女人是如何的犀利、尖酸刻薄、但爱面子。但很多是很搞笑的部分，比如她妈妈如何用花瓶来比喻女人的贞操，并用此来警惕自己的女儿，要嫁入豪门，就要保全身体的“完整”。但也有的部分很耐人寻味，如，她遇到一个很谈得来的老头，他竟然在她的一个生日里，送了一个四合院给她。
还没看完，但很期待看到结局是如何的。到底这个妈妈有没有成功的将自己的女儿嫁入豪门呢？
估计这个星期可以知道答案；）

Some time because of $$, ppl can sacrify everything and do what ever they can just to grap a big fish and marry a rich man, now the mother also involved. Since I dun like reading, so might as well you update me on the story, just curious to know how this girl and mother ended up with. Curious....:P
almost finish the book. the mom kept pushing her daughter to know rich man's son. But the girls, perhaps is fate, kept falling in love at much older rich men, one of them even is 10 years older than her father!! Funny eh? That old man really loves her, so he throws RMB 1 billion at her mom, to ask her to consider. He told her mom, "I might be a bit too old for your daughter, but I love her 100% and very faithful. Can you find any rich man with this characteristics at this era? Think about it! and keep this RMB 1 billion first."
I am so gun cheong... dunno if the mom will allow this weird marriage or not. This shanghainese mom, although love money, also loves her daughter, she does not want her daughter to 守寡 too early.

I got the ending liao, finished reading last night. She married the old man at the end, can't resist RMB 1 billion, and lots of overseas houses, can you? Haha. They later on have 2 kids. But the guy she first loved (but because he has a crazy wife, he cannot have the heart to divorce her and marry this woman, so at the end they departed bitterly), later on the crazy wife died, meaning, there is no obstacle between this guy and this woman to get together again.
that guy and that old man relationship is uncle and nephew.
Old man told the woman he can divorce her, and she can go marry his nephew, the guy she really loves... but at the end, she chose to be faithful to the old man.

Actually, the writer has very lousy way of writing, more gao-xiao than serious tones, so I did not cry, although it can be a very classic touching sad-ending..
