I hate people who write confusing email.

Case B: She said she booked 600. Then you searched back her email last time, it clearly says 400. So, tiu or not? Need another round of email to clarify, and this kinda people, want to call her she always not on seat one, must email one. So busy everyday, don't know do what. Do waht??!!! Bloody....
Case C: She asked so many items delivery date, so many I tell you. Then on one email, she said she wants to cancel the item. WHICH BLOODY ITEM??? Can you be more specific or not??? You got brain or not??????

And, I cannot be bitchy at her, because, we need their bloody business!!!!!! KNNCB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really hate stupid brainless person. Kill me... if not, just grant me the wish to say "tiu" to her... don't make me wag my tail like a dog in front of them. This kinda business, worth meh????

SHE

I have a stupid assistant.

She loves to ask the same questions 3 time on different day. She doesn't like to use her brain. Coz if she did use her brain, that question can definitely be answered from other ways, instead of wasting my time to answer her!

She has bad English.

She can't do powerpoint, so, she can't help me at all on ALL the presentation material.

She can't do excel-spreadsheet. She no will to learn the fnc key. So, instead of using Summation Function key, she used each cell to "+" together. Oh, and she does not know or want to learn VLOOKUP function also, so 1 simple sales summary monthly report, she needs 3 days to do. Why? Because she has to manually pull out the figure from few different reports.

Can someone tell me why such person can keep her job in this BIG MNC company?????!!!!

p/s: the monthly sales report, I don't need to use hers one. Because I only need 5 minutes to have it done with all the formula! Sibeh dulan at her stupidity! Why I still ask her to do? Coz if not, what she gonna do with 9 hours a day??!! >_<

amazon in cn

Today, I am quite in pro-china mood. Yay~~~

My colleague told me about a chinese website, called 卓越网, can order books there and they deliver to you. After you receive the books, then only pay for it. Risk free!

I googled the 卓越网, apparently it is amazon.cn. Why is it not called Amazon in China I don't know. I only care that books ordered on this site, got discount (books in china is already cheap, some more got discount, and send to you some more. Why go bookstore??).

This month alone, I already spent 200 yuan on books. But actually, half of them are my mom's order. I really don't know how many books in total my mom possessed. In my house in KL, books in the house is more than money notes... she is really crazy about books~~~ sometimes she felt upset coz 3 of us were not as crazy about books as her. She felt she has no 知音.

Anyway, I think it is very efficient to buy stuff online in China, riskfree. What will be the risk if you don't have to pay money upfront?

p/s: By the way, my first order few weeks ago, one of the books got glue on the cover. I called the customer service and asked for exchange. The next day, they came with the new book. So efficient eh!

A Happy Monday

Went out with Purple Mushroom yesterday, with her hubby, my hubby, and Eric. We had food in a Singaporean Restaurant, CrossRoad at the Parkson. It's Roti Phrata and Teh Tarik is quite nice. Yum Yum... oh anyway, Purple Mushroom had a surprise for me. She give me a Jennifer Lopez perfum as my belated birthday gift;) The smell is very nice - something fruity but yet not too strong. I wear to work already today. hehehe.. Thanks Purple Mushroom!

Then Bui Bui got an Ipod Shuffle for attending their sales kick off in U.S. His company is damn nice!! Where got company so dai-fong give ipod shuffle for all its staff attending the sales kick off? Wah Lao...

Bui Bui so nice, give it to me also. So, now I have Ipod MP4, and Ipod Shuffle. One more Ipod Nano then I will have the complete range. Muahaha... ok ok, too much;)

So, today, I listen to ipod shuffle on the way coming to work, and wear the new perfume to work. Good start on a Monday! ^_^

p/s: why I cover the ipod shuffle with a toothpick? Coz bui bui company's logo was printed on the cover. Wah... a door-gift to the staff also sibeh "branded" with company logo, his company really knows how to capture employee's loyalty sense. Good job! When can my company do the same? Grass on the other side is always greener meh?

Guang Ming Yoghurt

I started falling in love at this yoghurt drink (from Guang Ming, a very famous but local brand) since last year. It started with less concentrated drink (more liquid like) and thus it was in bottle before, so you just open up and drink. But don't know for what reason, they changed into this packaging, where the liquid is more concentrated, and thus, you need a spoon to scoop it up to "drink" it.

I am fine with the concept of "drinking" this thing, as long as the taste is same. But I never realized asking for the spoon is so difficult from the convenient store! (I usually bought it from a convenient store downstairs my office, its name is Lawson)

When it first changed it's packaging, I didn't know it needed a spoon. Anyway, the Lawson lady gave me a straw. Yes, a bloody straw! How to "eat"???

Next few times, sometimes different lady gave it automatically when you paid for the stuff. Sometimes I still have to ask for.

This morning, drama occured:
After paying the yoghurt, she didn't give me anything. So, I asked her to give me the spoon for it. It's just a small plastic spoon, one time off kinda tool.

She looked at me, as if I am from Mars. Pointed me to get the straw just beside the cashier machine.

Tiu nia sing. I almost blurted out tiu nia sing. I tell her, I want a spoon! not a straw! I can't eat this yoghurt with the straw! (of course in mandarin, you don't expect these lowly educated people to speak in English of course).

She ignored me. Then being an experienced cheena-lang "dealer", I turned to another staff, I demanded a spoon. Finally. I have the spoon.

Went upstairs my office, still feeling extremely pissed. I looked at the packaging and searched for a customer service line. Didn't expect to find one, but, I found one. Very surprised. such local company got customer service meh?

I wanted to let go my anger. So I called the customer service line. A lady who numbered was 802 (yes, I now remembered every customer service number they gave me, if I not satisfied, I am gonna call again and complaint more), asnwered my call.

I told her, I want to give them a suggestion. Paste the bloody spoon to the yoghurt packaging!! Then I told her this morning incident. She apologized. I said I not happy now, how? I even gave her the suggestion to train the bloody Lawson ladies! She apologized again (see how robotic they are??).

After put down the phone, I realized there is another way. Next time, if the lawson lady refused to give me the spoon, I am gonna belanja her eat the yoghurt. Perhaps she never know that yoghurt needs a spoon to eat. Yes, this method is the best method to 淋 those stupid cashiers!

When can China cashier become like HK standard? Sigh.... stupid!!!!

Relationship Problem

最近弟弟给甩了。

打他手机,竟然是 voice mail. 气煞我也。浪费我的IDD.

But heard mom said she called him lately, still very sad.

I love HK

Just got back from HK, and now blogging at office.

I LOVE HONG KONG!!!

If bui bui one day come home tell me he is relocated to HK, I will be laughing to pack my belongings and waving goodbye to Shanghai in just overnight.

Hong Kong is so efficient. Making payment at cashier, if they made u wait slightly longer (say, 2 min), they will apologize saying "sorry to make u wait a bit", or, "sorry to take some of your time". So good manner. And they very efficient. They don't do stupid things to waste your time. Unlike here. Make you wait LONG time, and then black face serving you.
And then if you tried already, you don't feel like buying, they don't have black face. Unlike here.

And when you walk out of the store after finished "looking", they use their sincere tone to wish you goodbye and wish to see you again. Although you don't know what their heart is thinking, maybe only the tone is sincere, but it makes you feel very comfortable. Unlike here, "欢迎光临” or "thank you for coming", sounds so fake, so so so fake. And face is without expression one. Aiyohyoh, sometimes I wish to go up to them and tell them "I didn't sleep with your BF, so, please don't give this kinda deadman face for me to see". Anyway, even if I say that to them, they probably return with an expressionless face-look again. They are so robotic.

Many many incidents make me fall in love at HK (this is not the first trip, but everytime I go HK, i feel like falling in love at it aagin and again).

I LOVE YOU, HONG KONG!

(facial products and cosmetics stuff are so cheap in HK... unlike here, bloody expensive, and black face service. YUCKS. I haven't bought any cosmetics stuff in SH yet. Thank God my job gave me the opportunity to travel out a bit so I can re-stock when depleted.)

VOGUE

One afternoon lunch, one of the colleague (let's address her as W) was talking about magazine.

W:"every month, i spent more than 100 yuan on magazine. I love to collect them, and I never throw them away. sometimes I re-read the old ones, I still find the information very useful. "

we:" wow... what magazine you read ah.."

W:"VOGUE, N' 25, bla bla bla."

(i only remember these 2, coz she highly recommended these 2).

So, yesterday, I passed by the magazine stall. I bought Vogue, August issue, for RMB 20.

niahmah, 20 yuan! add 6 yuan I can buy jimi's newest book already!!

Went home with the heavy magazine (yah, they just want to make you feel worth it, the book is damn heavy)

Read the magazine at 10.30pm. 11pm, finished the whole thick book. Angry, felt cheated, because there were practically no content inside besides fashion and cosmetics advertisement!!

Not even "relationship problem answering column ", not even "how to have great sex column", not even these kinda ba-gua column. It's all about Paris, Milan fashion show, new Clinique products BIG ad, etc.

So, with RMB 20, I bought a "lesson" or conclusion.

怎么样的人,就看怎么样的书。

W is damn shallow. Sorry girls if I offend you. But this kinda milan paris fashion show, doens't worth to collect in your 书橱 and doesn't need 1 month to finish reading it ok?!

I want my 20 yuan back~~~~~~~~~~~

decision making

Making decision is very painful, especially making the one that I am supposed to make now.

I miss those time when I was much younger, decision comes at no cost. There is no worry about "what if I make wrong decision?". At that age, any wrong decision can be reversible or mended.

At my age now however, decision comes in a risk. And thus, every decision has to be made with pros and cons weighted. And this is bad. Where got apple to apple comparison one. Sure one is apple, another is orange. So at the end, people will tell you, "you see what u want to eat today lah. Apple or orange?". I also know ah-ma is a female lah...

How leh.... How....................................

My new pet

I got a new "pet":) iPod Video!!

Bui Bui got it for my birthday present this year. Hehehe... he said black looks good, but I chose white instead;)

Now, I have a movie & music-on-the-go gadget! No more afraid flight delay. No more afraid bored in subway. No more afraid traffic jam on cabbie. No more afraid of delayed meeting. Yay!!!!!:)

I'm loving it~~~

p/s: took me a while figuring out how to manage this gadget. Must admit I am out-dated. Luckily, I am still smart. I solved the problem at the end. HAH!

p/s: not very user friendly though, apple product. Like the movie, u cannot fast forward or backward one. Or is it I don't know how to use??? If you know how to fast forward movie in it, please tell me~~~~
*edit* -- I managed to know how to fastforward or backword the movie. Yay! now my next challenge is to find a way to change its subtitle language and also audio... dunno can do or not leh??

p/s: I am so smart, I managed to download and know how to use a "converter" to convert DVD movie to ipod readable format. yay!!

Karaoke

My fren old law, recent post is about he started going to clubbing lately. Those who know him, will find this news very "new", because, old law, is simply too decent for us to imagine going to clubbing shaking butt pointing to sky and listening to "fuck u fuck u" music.

Anyway, I also want to say something "new" about me.

For the past 2 weeks, we had been going to Karaoke for almost 4 hours per session on Saturday! Those who know me well, also should have problem picturing me singing in karaoke. I just simply don't like to sing in front of people.

That day, is the first time I hear bui bui sing a complete song, and also bui bui hear me sing a complete song. Haha!

I guess the company makes a big difference. We went with Eric, & purple mushroom, and last weekend, 1 more friend Cecilia. In front of them, I seem can relax and enjoy myself in karaoke room. hahahaha...

Anyway, most of us only know certain "age" song. Most recent songs, we all tak tau already. 张信哲,优客李林,林忆莲 is what we can sing comfortably. Hahahha... of course, Eric can sing any song. Suddenly he can be 张学友,suddenly he can be 周杰伦,or 阿牛... he can be anyone. Geng!

So, few "old" people, singing Karaoke in happy hour time (sibeh cheap I tell u...). And, we have fun:)

And, I get to know that bui bui can sing other than just "Isabella" oh;)

p/s 1: can you believe that Karaoke here, got "Isabella" in Malay language? Seriously!

p/s 2: Purple Mushroom, too frustrated having trouble to find 洗刷刷 song, she asked the waiter to key in for her. Finally, we know where to find this song! haha..

sibeh wealthy parents

My regular job, includes flipping through all China parenting magazines, to understand the "industry movement". OK OK.. to be more exact, is to spy on competitor's movement.

I was shocked when I flipped through the page at kid's apparel recomended by the editor on one parenting magazine today.

There are pictures of kids wearing different brand's apparel. There's this brand, called Catimini, from Paris (after I googlged only I know.... never heard of this brand before). THere's a boy wearing its hat, T shirt, and pants. The color is plain, and design unfortunately is plain too. So my eyeballs move downward to look at its pricing. WTF?!! I almost pengsan!

- Hat 390 RMB
- T-shirt 430 RMB
- Pants 720 RMB

The boy is merely 6 years old.

Am I too outdated or what? I do understand child's clothing is more expensive than adults. but come on!!! Not this extent bah??

I guess this only proves one thing. Chinese parents are SIBEH wealthy!!!!!!

The most expensive apparel I bought in China (exclude winter jackets), is just RMB 400 per piece. Even that, I find it very expensive. Material also so-so only.

With that money, I can only buy a 6 years old boy's hat! MKH!
