The noun "Chinaman" is offensive. Nothing new here.

Might be of interest:
(1) A Hollywood movie "Crash" where a black dude calls out "Chinaman" very liberally.
(2) A Danish movie with the title "Kinamand" ("Chinaman" in Danish).

it just goes to show that they are ashamed of their own country.
i don't know, if someone call me malaysia-man, i'll be grinning and nodding and laughing.
i love malaysia.

You got it all wrong, the Chinese are proud of their country, much prouder than Malaysians with their smug "Malaysia Boleh" expression. You probably can't imagine it right now, but your children might be sending your grandchildren to China to attend universities, 50 years from now. Neither my nor your disgruntlement with China or the Chinese society matters, because China is now an unstoppable train.

despite their ugly behavior in the public, they really much prouder to be a China Chinese than us being the Malaysian Chinese.

and,

despite China is an unstoppable train, and many people are earning their first tong of gold here, many people from many nations still shaking their head when they see a china chinese sitting in a high-class restaurant next seat to them, or when they realized they have to endure the 20 hours flight having a china chinese sitting just right behind them in the airplane.
