He thinks subway is his home, can simply sit on the floor, ignoring the fact that he is creating so much trouble for passengers, to jump over him to reach the door for exit. Do you call this stupid or selfish?
During a quiet hour on a street in the heart of the city Shanghai, I sometimes could mistake this is in a western country - no spitting, no quarreling... Just tall financial buildings all around.

Yah, agree with ya. Feel the same when I was there :) but it may only apply to certain 'time frame'..
Well, I even came across with 2-3 people sit on the floor in the subway to Huangpi station.. and you need to 'cross-over' them to exit and they just don't care.. =S
mine one, he sat there from xujiahui, til xinzhuang I think coz when I get off near xinzhuang, he still there, unmoved. And he doesn't mind I take picture of him also. Very "generous".
Are you Eric ah?
Hi, I am not Eric! =)I am Malaysian who works in US MNC and got to travel to Shanghai quite frequent for the past 2 quarters on a project.. Even came across with really 'rude' people who just push you away when they exit the subway.. 'Polite' people won't survive well in that city. Haha...That's my thoughts, =) Take care..
Love to read you gals' blogs. Keep it up!
anonymous -- yah, agree with you "polite" people will die young in this city. I think I am more 'loud' these days. That day a pretty girl cut my Q in Watson when I was lining up to pay, I told her in loud tone, "I WAS IN A LINE", and she apologized and moved to behind me. Yay, I win.
Thanks for stopping by =)
