Went to 鲜花港 yesterday with Purple mushroom (from now on, I will call her P.M., save my typing), winston, and 2 of P.M friends, name is hooi hooi and E C.

It was so freezing and windy. This year winter is longer. I am in my turtle neck and 棉袄 today again, and heater was on for last night too.

Anyway, I love the tulips so much! (If only yesterday sunlights were more sufficient...) And I believe my mom will be crazy over it too. Haha.. Since many of the jpg I wanted to share is already on P.M. blog (yah, same spot, same post, haha), I will just share the rest.

Mom -- if you want to witness this with your own eyes, come visit me during this time next year loh! hehehee:)

《高兴》

最近实在是太忙，冷落了我前一阵子在读阅的《高兴》，作者为贾平凹。

不是我买的啦，是妈妈叫我这边买好，下一次带给她（她给了我一张清单，还不时地加一些新的书，每一次回家都好担心行李会不会超重，但是妈妈开心就好啦）。我是看他的封面很有趣才开始读的。你看，又一次证明“外表”实在很重要。呵呵。

这本书，暂时是这两年里我看了以后觉得很有意思的小说。有时会令我笑，但很快就会觉得很伤感，所以我觉得他的手法很厉害，这一秒钟令你笑，下一秒钟令你感伤（有一点像《长江7号》，呵呵）。一个农民，卖了肾也做不了西安的城市人，可悲吗？

有一个小小的愿望，希望这一阵子别再这么忙了，好让我回家后还有精力看完这一本小说：）

My Beijing trip

I am still alive. hahaha... ok ok, I have so much to tell over my business trip in Beijing.

This trip, I was living at ring-4 area (四环）because it was close to where I am attending the meeting, and it makes me realized Beijing is really big... wide spread. Beijing has a total of 5 rings. Each ring is big, and jammed with cars...

Anyway, I want to tell you about this hotel, called Zhao Long Hotel. It was said it's a 5 bloody star, and the price is 1088 yuan per night, I only picked this hotel because it was close to where I having the meeting (it was a daily meeting). I don't want to sit in cars for more than 1 hour because of stupid traffic, so I stayed at this hotel where I can walk to that place. And thinking 1088 yuan per night is so expensive, it couldn't be less than what I expected what a 5-star hotel is.

I was WRONG. Dead wrong. The hotel is old! Checked-in officer is sibeh rude (I made a fuss about his attitude, asking what's his name, and complaint to his supervisor, yes, I am that fussy. Tell u why shortly), and the room shower place, looks like this:

Can you believe it? I cannot believe this. The interior really looks more like 3.5 star ok. Fuck shit.

OK, tell you why I complaint the officer. Upon checking in, I asked, is the room equipped with broadband, can I go onto internet? He answered, "yes, got the internet line, but without the laptop." And with sibeh face ok. I was dulan already. Who will expect a broadband room will come with laptop?? nia sing. Then, when he took my deposit on the credit card, he swapped 10,000 yuan! I asked him, why so much? He answered, "The deposit should be more than your rental fees." He said it in a way that implies I am so stupid, first time business trip, doens't know about the rule. I immediately asked for his name, Daniel Shi. And I asked for his supervisor to come see me right away. She came, this lady face is very sweet. And she apologized on his attitude. I wanted to say to her, "if your staff is sad because his gf dumped him or his pet died this morning or if he lost all his money in share market this morning, then please give him a day off", but I hold my temper. At least she has a pretty face and her attitude is very good.

NEVER, never ever stayed in Zhao Long Hotel if you come to Beijing! It's just a blardy 3 star hotel, charging you 1088 yuan per night without breakfast some more. Nia sing hotel.

After 3 days fuck shit trip in Beijing, and working more than 10 hours everyday, I am back to my home-sweet-home. Yes, I called Shanghai as home~~~~~ haha... Missed my bed. And I feel glad to shower in my comfy shower room. Yay!

p/s: Beijing standard of living so much lower than in Shanghai. I don't know why I realized this so much in this trip (it's not my first trip to Beijing). Cab fees are so cheap. Eating also cheap. My colleagues also told me the house in Beijing is cheaper than in Shanghai too. So I am not surprised that the group of people who can afford our product is much less than in Shanghai. haha.

My calendar for MARCH is full of circle and words, reminding me which day got what kind of meeting or tel-con waiting for me.

Why huh??? WHY HUH??? Why our big guai lou boss cannot leave us alone to do our business, why must always come kacau us with this meeting, that meeting, this telcon, that telcon, this store visit, that store visit??

Golfing

We had so much sunshine on Saturday, weather was just fantastically great. So, bui suggested we go to play golf.

We googled where's the nearest golf course, and went there by cab.

We played at driving range. More like bui bui played at driving range. I learnt. There were many people that day. Bui is very patient on me. I can only hit out the ball one in every 4 hits. hahahaa... anyway, I like this sports. Yay...

This is bui at... "patcher" I think. I forgot what's the term. Anyway, u were supposed to hit the ball into that hole..

My hand was in pain the next day. But, we decided to go back there again next week, if weather is still great:)

7 million vs 24 million; 24 million vs 1.3 billion??

Last year, inflation was hitting high in China. In December, it was 4.6% CPI I think. And January, it was 7% something. Anyway, in quarter four of 2007, the China Government raised the minimum retirement monthly salary to the lao-bai-xing, everyone is happy, although the amount is small, but whenever the TV station interviewed those old ah ma and old ah pa of what they think of this action, they answered with tears in their eyes "谢谢国家领导对我们的关爱”. Can feel they were sincerely touched.

And, the China government also doing a lot of thing, to help the non-shanghainese (e.g Ningbo, Hunan, etc etc) to get a job in Shanghai. They have a website, that those local people can log in to find job (something like jobstreet, but more advance, and it's government effort). Every info is on the website. As long as you can read and write, you should be able to find a job, well, as long as you are not lazy as pig also. They even open lots of child-care specifically taking care of those 外来劳工的子女，so they can build houses for shanghainese (hard labor) without worrying who is taking care of their kids.

Recently, they also have opened up a lot of, they called 社区医疗中心 so those old people or people who cannot walk properly can seek doctor advice more easier (just around thier living area should have 1 of this kinda center), and no need to take transportation to go to city to visit hospital. And, they were lowering prices on medicine, so more lao-bai-xing can benefit in the medical area.

They built new subway line, connecting all places, with all places. Though I hate subway takers (I always think only loser take subway. Yah, I am a loser in the morning, coz I cannot catch a taxi in peak hour), I respect the China government who makes 老百姓出行 so convenient! And from what I can see over here, whenever public voiced out something that the government should change, to make life more efficient, the government really listen, and really got action, and changed, within short period of time.

Government also constantly upgrading the road condition, though I hate this becuase this means traffic jam for that time being, but hey, they upgrade the road condition in the city, without asking the 老百姓 to pay toll ok. And, they don't take YEARS to just build a bridge... and they don't build a bridge so near to 老百姓 house and break 老百姓 house wall with shaking noise and movement. Yah lah, I am referring to the Sri Petaling KLP highway lah..

They even do all tax-payer's evaluation timely. All 老百姓 who earned more than 12K a month ought to declare taxes paid before March of every year, regardless u local or not local. Our company submited for us (yes, so nice one, company submitted in group, we just sign), and we received the acknowledgement notice from tax authority that they have received within 10 days(fyi, that time was chinese new year time). Compared to our lhd*, phooh.... I got nothing to comment.

p/s: writing this, because suddenly remembered March 8th is the voting day for Malaysian... suddenly also, feel extremely sad. If you say Singapore can be so successful because the leader only need to 'manage' the 7 million people, and Malaysia cannot beat Singapore because our dearest leader have to "manage" 24 million people, then.... then.... China has 1.3 billion 老百姓, should it be worsed than us then? Suddenly, feeling more sad...

My sotong assistant made a typo mistake on one of our important communication material. China custom picked it up, and refused to allow us to import that item.

This is not the first time she have typo mistake. It's OK, she is local chinese I know and she ought to get my merciful forgiveness.

But do you know what she replied to me after I wrote to her ask her to be more careful next time?

I was so shocked. They really can twist the fact around. The fact that she did not apologize on her mistake really pissed me off, and she wanted me to waste money for her to get an outside company to proof read her work?????

Holding my anger, I replied, "if you wish, with MINIMAL cost please."

I am so speecheless. Can anyone of you tell me it is OK for her to behave like this?

By the way, the piece of document she made mistake on, it's not 4-5 pages of articles full of words. It was just a simple instruction sheet, with lots of pictures and minimal words. ngo men nei sei mei?!

Torturing lunch...

Today, the Sales Manager of a Magazine company, die die also want to ask me out for lunch, to thank me for invensting in them this year. I told her no need, but she explained to me, her boss insisted her to make a lunch appointment with me, if I said no, she very difficult to explain to him. Aiyoyoh... ok lah if that is the case.

So, she came with her Vice General Manager. A very talkative man. His face look like 阿毛，a chinese 漫画 character, damn funny face looking.

Anyway, it was a very "difficult" lunch, coz he kept talking. At first, I very 礼貌，if he talks, I don't eat. Then I say to myself, "cannot like that liao, keep on like that I very hungry. This man never stops talking." So, he talks, I still eat and nod my head. Hahahaha... at the end, he asked me "Did I talk too much? Am I too talkative?". I have to lie to myself and him, "no... no... please go on."

You don't see I not talkative, but, from an 1 hour lucnh, I found out that:
1) He was born in 1973
2) Besides HK and Macau, he never been to any country outside of China (HK and Macao actually also not considered countries outside of China..)
3) He is Shanghainese, he thinks there is no place else better than Shanghai (of course, comparison base is so small, just HK, Macao, some other ulu places in China, and Shanghai)
4) His name is named as "swimming", coz while he was given birth, his dad was swiming at changjiang river in a winter (Wow...)
5) His friend brought a Apple phone back for him from U.S., besides SMS, making phone calls and receiving calls, listening to music sometimes, he did not use other functions on the phone. He thinks it is too troublesome to change the module to china-friendly to enjoy the internet service.
6) He asked me want to go to Ha Er Bin togehter or not this year. (He must be joking... this ain't gonna happen - first of all, me no like ha er bin, secondly, me ain't going with anyone other than my frens and hubby)
7) He has a driver
8) He is a heavy meat eater. Don't like to eat vege.

Ehh-hmmm... I think I still have the market-research skillset. Yup... Haha...

I hope no more of this kinda "business lunch" for me anymore. I hate. I gonna pass this task to my assistant next time. Let her go to ha er bin with these kinda business-partners. yayaya... hahahaa...

Anyway, there's a lot of sunshine from today onwards. I am so looking forward to Spring!

最近中国股市暴跌，一跌再跌。通货膨胀也越来越凶，上一个月的通货膨胀已高达7.1%, 买包青菜以前5块有得找，现在，没有7块你想都不用想。猪肉也涨了58%，一小包肉碎要20块钱。外面的餐馆都普遍乘机涨价，不涨白不涨，有钱赚，不跟着大势走，傻的么？

心里有一点暗爽。中国的没规则的股市，不知道造就了多少爆发富，外表穿金戴银住豪宅，里面却素质低，“臭”得要死！这一次的教训，让他们知道，风水是轮流转的。

听说老板的老婆买了很多很贵的股票，现在抱着不能进（没钱？）也不能出（亏死咯现在出！），鬼么，股市跌得最大幅度的就是这一些贵股，搞得她本来要买mini-cooper的，现在只能买几万块的轿车。不知道老板最近在公司的脸色那么差，是不是因为这个呢？？？你们一定问，人家老婆的事你又懂？大佬阿，他老婆时常一有机会就‘铺头’参与我们的公司活动，怕死老公被下属钩去，你说能不知道吗？她还告诉我们她觉得她老公（即我们老板）很lengzhai, 是她的梦中情人，听得我们毛骨悚然，只能说“哦...”。真死北够力。老板命真好，有这样崇拜他的老婆。但是随便就跟我们这一帮人将这种肉麻的话，不知道意图在哪儿？

Anyway, 我想说，希望中国通货膨胀能到达一种境界-- 让所有烟鬼都买不起香烟，那才爽！哈哈！会有这么一天吗？

I always get pissed whenever someone just stand in the middle of the elevator, not right not left, just simply in the middle, and blocking the whole passage way.

Can the government spend some effort in educating these people? If you want to stand, please stand at the right side. Keep the left side clean so people can walk up when they are in a rush.

Winter is over..

My mind is at holiday again. I was complaing to my hubby life is without purpose after CNY, until another long holiday in October. So, I have 7 months of purposeless-life, that's so torturing. Then, hubby told me something to excite me -- we are going somewhere in April. kekekkeke:)

Can't wait. I love tropical season places. Yay~~~~~~ Hope he meant it.

Oh btw, winter is over. Today marks the end of winter, and more rain to come (today TV news said one). I am so grateful I am saying "bye bye" to my winter jacket. yay~~

Relationship

If you are observant, you should notice I haven't complaint about my assistant for very long time already.

You see, there's some chemical reaction between me and her since December. Not sure what's the real reason, she started to respect me more. And I am the kind of person, if you respect me 10%, I respect you 20%. If you respect me 50% more, I will respect you 100% more. So, the chemical process is getting better and better. Purple Mushroom said maybe she knows I was going to be promoted, but my promotion only came late last month wor. Our relationship was improved in late December already.

How I "respect" her? I started to accept that nobody is perfect. She might be strong in some area, and weak in other area. So, I gave her more task in her strong area. Her weak area, I took up the task and do it myself (e.g. excel spreadsheet, she damn week).

And this morning, I came to work, saw this on my table. It's actually from her! Wow.. I was flattered. Although I am not a chocolate fans, her sum-yi makes me feel very sweet loh. There's a mandarin orange too, but I ate it before I able to take the photo. Haha..

That's not all. Today, I have a tel-conference call from 11am. Needless to say, it went over lunch hour til late. She knocked on the door at 12.30pm, asking if I need to dabao. I said it's fine. But she insisted. So I said ok, anything will do. Then she dabao KFC. Again, even though I am not a fans of KFC, and she forgotten to change the fries with the salad (I dont like salad, I want fries), I still feel touched. hehehe...

人和人之间的互动，真的很微妙！

My Feb 2 - 14

I am back, with nose-block, occational dizzy. Thanks to cold, cold, cold Shanghai weather.

I wanted to blog about how our flight got delayed due to bad weather condition, but I don't have the semangat that I have had on that day. Hahaha... but I want to say, MAS treat us not bad, gave us a Ramada Hotel to stay in while waiting for the midnight flight. The most cartoon part is, when we are all gathered at lobby waiting to depart to airport again at 2am, the officer told us (she is local lah) she didn't arrange 3 big bus to pick us up. But cool, at the end, they arranged more than 50 cab to send us to airport, and the fees can claim straight away from MAS counter. Yay. The scene was magnificent. Imagine at a black black street, got 50 cabs lining up to pick us up to airport, booked by the hotel. Haha. Anyway, it was as if they want to make up to us (poor us, wasted 1 day), the whole journey from Shanghai to KL, departing at 6am, was quite pleasant. It was unusually quiet in the cabin even with a lot of kids (so many family brought their kids back to KL), everybody was busy catching some sleep. And, I have the smoothest landing ever at KLIA, the plane didn't even shake a bit while it landed. Good job done!

Pudong Airport sucks in managing this kinda situation though. The flight cancelled, never announced through their hiao-hiao broadcaster. It was just merely appeared on the screen for few minutes. I went toilet and key poh check on the screen only know the flight was cancelled. Can u believe it?

It was quite depressing to see most flights got delayed or cancelled on the big screen at Pudong Airport. Only 3 planes took off from 8am-2pm on that day, all china eastern airlines. Priviledge treatment eh?

This is Pudong Airport at 4am. Damn chai-leong feeling..

Anyway, home sweet home. Time flies when u enjoy the moment the most. I met up with some friends (they still look the same, no fat no thin. hehe), went to bui's hometown, play with his brother's sons. They use thier chocolate sticky mouth to kiss me, I almost fainted. Why kids are so careless one?? I don't want kids at the moment after kena this. eeee...

Then, we also went to Pavillion and The Garden. I still prefer the old Midvalley. Again, this is a sign of aging - don't like changes or surprise. hahaha... We had a luxurious movie watching experience at The Garden, each ticket costs us 60 bucks, comes with free drinks, and a magic chair. hahaa... bui bui enjoys the chair very much! He quickly took off his shoes and slipped into the blanket and make himself so comfy for the movie watching.

This is my highschool frens: YL, SW, SH, LZ, and TH. One more fren TY, he came late, so not in pic. They still look good! So happy to see them again.

Rush Rush Rush, Eat Eat Eat, there finish my 10 days trip at KL. It was indeed a very yum-gong feeling to return my mom's sim card and resume my china sim card. Btw, this trip, I didn't get to eat CRAB!!!!!!! All crab catchers go CNY liao, no crab in restaurant. :( But it is still good to have few lou-sang in KL, once was with the Shanghai gang. hahahha... see each other so often in Shanghai still want to lou-sang togehter in KL! That's us!:P

And, Yesterday was my happiest day in many many years (the last happiest day I remember is the first V day with bui bui). He arranged something, but it didn't turn up well. At the end, he told me the whole truth, and I was laughing until cannot stop, and then we went to the shop to pick "him" up. ("he" was supposed to be delivered to our doorstep in the morning before I wake up, but the store owner screw it up. we not angry lah, it's china)

Some how, I think "his" eyebrow looks like bui bui's ones. Hahhaa...

Bui bui also gave me a card, it was the sweetest moment, and I screw it up, I cried. I don't know why I cried also, coz the card he wrote very funny one. I am touched by his arrangement:) I didn't get him anything this year though, in fact, I never wrote him any card after the one I sent to him got lost in the Malaysia Pos. I some more kiss on the cards with full lipstick, and perfume some more ok. It got me sick whenever I think of a Postman kept my card and smelling the perfume. YUCKS~~~~~~

Anyway, that's my past 12 days. Happy Valentine's Day to all of you!!!:) And, Gong Xi Fat Chai!!

Bitch and New Year wish

Some people, the brain structure is really weird. They think the world revolves around them.

On Tuesday Jan 29th, she sent an email, to me (I am E lah) and Miss S, "Hi E and S, we are not launching the DVD player but the US still needs to test it for all markets. Can you please send me a few DVDs as requested below."

Today, she wrote, "Hi S, DVDs received with thanks. Hi E, need yours before I courier to the US. Do you think I can get it before CNY please?". Today is Feb 1st. What the fuck? If you need it urgently, say so in your first email lah? You think we very free at work ah? Can go DVD shop any time ah? You think China is easy to find a non-pirated DVD shop ah? You think we all no work to do ah???

So I reply, "Hi K, didn't know you need it that urgent. Can only send to you after CNY. (week of Feb 13th)."

And you know what this weirdo replied?? Like want to revenge like that, reply as such, some more cc to S, like want to give a pat on S shoulder, but want to screw me like that. "ok then i courier the hk samples first and yours later...thanks."

I am refraining myself in replying her, cc S, "fine with me. "

Snowy week...

The last time I have seen this much of snow, was 10 years ago, at Vancouver. It was one of the heaviest snow back then in Vancouver for the past 75 years.

Now, Shanghai claimed this is their heaviest one in the past 50 years.

Why I always kena this kind of "heaviest" thingy in my life. ...

Anyway, this is the picture outside my house:

The road is so sibeh slippery coz of the frozen icy. It has been snowing 3 days continuously already. Day & Night.. day & night. I spent double time travelling to office today because I have to walk like an old ah ma on the street, to avoid slipping to the ground. Arghh..

Road is very dirty, and I can't differentiate which part of the road got "spit" (tam), which makes me feel sick whenever I think of this - my shoes sure stepped on a lot of tam these few days. Tiu...

Anyway, Winston is so dai-fong! He belanja us karaoke on Friday night! And that same night, we have 2 cakes celebrating his early birthday. hahahhaa... eat until I feel fat, but they were both delicious! This is winston. Doesn't he look like Superman? :P

Another separate topic -- see the spider web design of subway? This is the fast developing Shanghai City. When I first moved here 2 years+ ago, we only have 3 lines of subway.

The above 'conversation' is taking place via email. Yes, email.. Don't ask why.

Anyway, I suggested to purple mushroom she needs to visit the beauty saloon to do facial more often. Her skin texture is very good, which makes her not regularly doing facial at those saloon yet. But I tell her time has arrived... we are aging.

Tiu or not? Aging leh!!!!! Since when we turn gun-cheongly splashing essence onto our face after taking flights and during business trip? Since when we buy the skin care products without even blinking eyes when the sales girl tells u that is good with anti-wrinkles at your neck... or anti-wringkles at your eye area... or giving your face lots of water... bla bla bla.. Since when we start staring at mirror just to see if our pores were getting bigger and if that's so, quikcly call the facial center to book appointment coz that means your face is very dried... since when you using face scrub stuff so your new skin can come out more easier giving you the smooth texture... since when you force yourself to go facial at least once a month if not 2 times a month. Since when you paying more attention to those fancy cosmetic print-ad in the magazine?

Since when all these are happening?

My hubby - didn't reply immediately, coz, he was out-station. But when he came home at night and know about this, he said, "i want separate meal, at high class hotel, and I want wine."

You all very scandal ah... so demanding one. U think I am promoted to Director ah?

Anyway, this saturday, we go Thai food, on me!! yay..... happy~~~:P yay yay yay yay yay~~~ :P

天不作美

Ever since I come back from HK, with my new love, the weather has been bad - rain, rain, rain like free like that.. I hate.

I no chance to take my new love out for a walk yet. Eeee...

I can only wish this week have at least one big sunny day.

Please.... please... please..

Fish bone that cost RMB 540!

I was happily chatting with colleagues during lunch. Then suddenly, I realized there's a fish bone at my throat... blardy shit.

I was pretty cool about it at first. Swallow rice ball. Cough Cough. Still cannot. And it's getting worse. It "moved" in my throat. Suddenly is this kinda pain. Next second is another kind of pain from another direction.

I excuse myself from the group. Went toilet. Trying to make myself vomit. Cannot. (I never know how to make myself vomit. Can never do that. Only vomit whenever I have food poisoning.).

Colleague asked me drink vinegar 醋, say it will soften the bone. Then I also bought bread and telan the bread. Done all the above. Still no improvement.

Last resort. Go hospital. Yah, hospital again.

I stormed off the office to hospital. Not because I was in pain (still bearable), but because I am angry this is the 4th time I go hospital in the past 3 months!!! Why I so bad luck in healthy in the year of Pig??? @#$%!

So, see the doctor. The doctor shine my throat with torchlight. Look look... and he remarked "looks like need to search deeper.". As soon as I heard him said that, my face turned pale. I asked, "pain???". Doctor answer without expression on his face (old man, not leng chai some more), said, "no pain, just simply uncomfortable." Tiu nia sing. Shanghainese also know how to suan people.

I was prepared to be tortured. Closed my eyes. Within 30 seconds, he said, "Ah... found it. Nah, bring back as a souvenoir lah". (of course, all above conversation is in mandarin)

I cannot express how happy i felt that time. I was like a bird.... chirping "is it? i feel so much better. thank u doctor... thank u!". Then I also asked, next time if similar situation, can I ask someone to shine torchlight at my throat and then take out the bone ourselves? he said cannnot. Of course cannot lah. Simple job, big money.

It costs me RMB 540 for the doc. When I saw the bill, I almost faint. Luckily can claim back.

This long "Y" shape expensive fish bone once again reminded me, good health is very important. I am going to take it back home and frame it... seriously.

And.. no fish for me in the next 2 months. Hmmph!

Clock is ticking

Clock is ticking... sooner or later, we have to make "that" decision.

Some days, I say to myself, it's a vibrant city here. I should love it and give it second chance.

Some days, I look at the ugly smelly stupid lack-of-gah-gao shanghainese, I say to myself, "tiu nia sing, I must be blind to be even considering living here longer. @#$%!"

Some days, I say to myself, look.. the city is changing again. Look at the spider-web design subway. Look at the inflation here, look at the luxurious life that some men able to live and yet some men are so poor they don't even have bread to keep their stomach warm. Look at this city!

Some days, I will say to myself, "this fucking city is so cold in winter and so hot in summer. tiu nia sing. and they call the fucking air-cond as heater. SLAP THEM!"

And some days, I asked bui, "u want to let go the status u have here? can't guarantee u will get it back in other place oh... your boss loves u, your staff loves u, u seh-duk meh?"

Clock is ticking... still got time to think. But one thing is for sure, I hate shanghainese still. Call me discriminating or what not... and if u want to "bark" at my this statement, please leave at once. No one force you to read.

I sibeh bored in office today.

Decided to cam-whore a bit -- of the cups on my working desk. Hahaha...

This is my water drinking cup - from starbucks. Supposed to use it to drink coffee. But I so far only use it to drink water:)

This one is for drinkig tea. It's very nice cup. Made in Taiwan. The tea will be layered out and only water passed through to the bottom, leaving the tea leaf up there.

This one is for drinking honey. hehehhe... Looks like english cup hor?

Now, here comes the hero on the table:

I got 1 more cup (christmas theme), tall one. That is good for drinking water too. I will bring it to office soon, when I am more free. Yay... one more cup. Wash until I die in every morning. Bleah.

How to change one's luck?

Lately, I kept thinking about "luck".

I never is a very good-luck girl, I realized.

Never pick a good lucky draw prize, needless to say to kena what how many thousands cash or a small kancil car-- this is not it, I almost every time kena the cheapest prize in lucky draw (if the game is everyone get a prize no matter what), I picked up the cheapest toy in our company annual dinner as lucky draw, 2 weeks ago. Geng or not?

Most of the time, when I reached the subway station (I have to change subway at 1 of the station), the connecting train is always just left the station, or I have to look at the people getting off the train and the train door is closing and I am always that close to reach the door. Waiting period for the next one is another 11 min. So, u can imagine how dulan I felt.

In one very advanved western country (I would like to keep this anonymous), I supposed to receive something from them. Guess what? So advance, but, they can make a stupid mistake, send mine to wrong address, but Jay's one arrived correctly. So, if this is not about luck, what is it??

In the weekend, when I go out play with purple mushroom, I always took the cab that the driver is either new to the cab industry and thus not knowing the road very well, or, i will kena the driver who is very old, and thus u cannot scream at him even though he took long route (he appeared to be really nice, and old and memory not good). End up, paying 40-50% more than I should.

The stupid Dior counter in Jusco Midvalley, the woman who served me is always very big-prawn-head. Gave her my card number, EVERYTHING that she need, and she can lost the paper and thus my redemption gift have to wait like half a year instead of just 1 month to reach me. And, guess what? This happeend twice, even though the second time at redemption time, I jokinly reminded her "this time please don't misplaced this paper again.", she misplaced it again of course. 1 year already, i have not received the redemption gift. And, tiu her. I am switching brand. No more Dior.

The list can go on and on... So, am I such a not-so-good luck girl? How to change one's luck? I hate.

Carrefour

Last weekend, we went to carrefour near our house (we every weekend also go there to buy grocery).

We think it is because of CNY is approaching, the whole carrefour is full of orang!!!!! OMG!!!!! you cannot believe it. Please look at the picture, all lying up to pay!
And this sibeh pregnant cheena cha boh, she pushed me to go through and cut Q (another Q, if not I will SCREAM at her!), I sibeh dulan. I took her picture after she made her payment and turned around. I wanted to take her front face, but she didn't turn enough.

China, really has abundant of this sort of people, and is really crowded with rude people.

I love HK!!

I am back from HK!!

And, I fucking spent a lot. Tiu loh.. just 2 days 1 night, I spent like local cheena who goes HK. You know those local chinese, they go hk shop til drop? I haven't "dropped" lah, but.. close enough. hahaha...

Anyway, remember I blogged about my new phone, that I first saw in HK Airport in Oct 2007? On that very same day, I also "met" another lover - BALLY sling bag!! I kept thinking about it since October. Very kuah cheong hor?

Because this time travelled with all the colleagues, we checked in together. But after that, I cannot tahan already, I bye bye with them, and run to the Bally store, and make the buying decision in 15 minutes!!

Nice or not? hehehe... don't ask me how much. It's the most expensive bag I ever bought so far. But I just love its soft skin. oooo...... and this bag can "transform" one. Anyway, I just love it (pic might not be able to show its loveliness... I simply took in this morning one. haha)

Poor me, after such rush purchasing action, have to run to the gate. And this round, we taking local airline instead of Dragon Air, and I think this sibeh local air is very cheap plak, until gate arragement also sibeh FAR AWAY!!!! And, it was at a sibeh corner, without any clear signage one. They really bully cheap plak brand. Gosh, I feel so offended taking my new bally bag sitting on this local airline. yucks

Anyway, arrived home safely. This is most important. Hahaha..

I really wish my hubby was relocated to HK instead of Shanghai. I really love Hong Kong!!

the haunted alarm clock

"dit dit dit... dit dit dit... dit dit dit" - my alarm clock has gone off again. Tiu, I hate this moment every single morning in weekdays.

I turn the snooze button on, so it will "dit dit dit" again in another 5 min.

But it continued to "dit dit dit" even I turn on the snooze! So, I murmured "sibeh alarm clock, I am gonna take out the battery from you!!!! see if you still can "dit dit dit" or not!!!"

Angrily, my hands searching for its battery. Took it out and slapped onto the floor.

"dit dit dit... dit dit dit... dit dit dit.." - SHIT!!!!!! It still went off like no body business. And the pace is getting faster, like its going crazy liao.

I got scared... how can it still can dit dit dit even though without battery??? I told my hubby my alarm clock is haunted. Got woo-woo!!!!!!!!!!

Before I can start crying because got woo woo inside my alarm clock, my babe voice is coming from the living room "BABE!!!!!!! Can you get up and switch off your alarm clock?? It's been ringing for 5 minutes already!!!!!"

Tiu. It's a dream. I am so glad it's a dream, if not, it will really mean my alarm clock is haunted. Yucks.

YAY. tomorrow is saturday. NO ALARM CLOCK DAY!!!!! Hooray!!! ^_^

100 min?

Early pagi-pagi, received email from Eric, talking about sex scandal in malaysia lately.

I long long time never read The Star, asking him and purple mushroom what is it about.

Purple Mushroom replied, "it's the 100 min sex DVD performed by the Dr. Cxxx. I want to get it to view!"

Me, "wah.. er... who is this Dr. Cxxx ah??"

Purple Mushroom, got angry, "Go read The Star!"

So, I was reading The Star.... So, he is the Health Minister? I mean... he was. "...The rakyat not only want us to carry out our responsibilities well and with honesty, they also want their leaders to be individuals of good moral standing". This is very true.

I'm not very curious about he resigned or not. I just wonder what did he do in that 100 min... he kinda not young already.... and.. still can stay good in 100 min??.... and who did he offend until this person so moh liu to go take his 100 minutes?

Our celebration

On Dec 31st 2007 afternoon, we went to Carrefour to buy wine and chips, for tonight's countdown. (As we get older, we really don't have any mood to go to crowded places to pek with other people to countdown)

So, bui chose this wine, FOC us a wine opener some more. And we bought some chips.

As we going out of Carrefour, we saw the headline "Bye Bye see you tomorrow" in English (whereas in Chinese, it actually meant to say "Hope you visit us again". We were laughing as I quickly take a shot at this pic. I mean, Carrefour is really black-heart, they really wish every visitor to go to their store EVERY SINGLE DAY?? Oh come on...

So at night, around 11pm, we started drinking wine. My first glass already caused my face so red and so hot. Bui was laughing at me, "babe, you really can't drink.". Then he gan-bei with the wine bottle instead with me. Eeee... so sarcastics. Of course, he got his punishment later. hahaha..

I have 3 glasses of wine that night. That brand is quite good the taste. As I passed 2nd glass, I find it easier to keep drinking. But my babe didn't allow me to have more, he said I look like a red balloon. hahaha..

So, That's how we celebrated 2008 the first minute. We "Happy New Year" a while to each other and called our parents, then went to bed. I was so passed out that moment. Useless eh me?:p
