I am back~~~~~
The jet lag is very annoying. I felt so drained out by 8.30pm every night for the past 2 weeks. And the long haul flight is so scary... 12 hours in a closed cabin is just too long to stay sane. I am not kidding. Both Jay and I are not planning any long haul trip for the next 12 months, unless my sister is getting married in Dec (I begged her please NOT this year~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 可怜可怜你姐!)
So, what did I achieve this trip back to KL? I spent time with my mom and sis, that's the most precious achievement. I didn't really go out see many friends. Those that I went out to see are those who really tracked me down with all means, if not, I really lazy to make arrangement. Sorry kawan-kawan, your friend me is getting old... lazy to plan and think ahead. hehehe... next time babes~~~ next time.. I didn't even go on facebook for the whole duration! Some achievements eh? hahaha... and then I make a trip down to see my uncle and his family in Singapore, day trip.. sob sob... there really is not a lot of time. I hari hari like go to war, do all the official things related to government stuff and banking during Mon-Fri, and then have to split the trip in half to Muar and KL leh... and then Bui is aji ajo-ing already, he said I split the half not really half one, I pian xin, I put more weight on KL and only 30% on muar. hahahahaa... I think he is quite pissed off at me after he realized it but then too late, arrangement has been made. Well, perhaps next time we will just separate - he goes muar, I stays at KL. But then I miss the baby girl her brother has at muar... she is so cute!!!
Anyway, here I am, back to this lousy lalaland... snowing today... make it even more lousy. I really start not to like this place very much. Things are getting more expensive. Government wants to raise the public transport fees by 13%, and the healthcare monthly installment is raised by 7%. Sometimes I just want to give them my whole pay cheque and tell them go to hell. Anyway.... if summer is not coming soon, I think I will be cursing very very soon again~~~ ARGHH!!!!
Then YVR airport has the most stringent custom in this whole big world. They just want to catch you in every little thing. I read the declaration form about the definition of "food", it says something meat.. with seads... plants.. things like that. So we brought instant coffee, one pack of instant noodle, tea leafs, cookies (CNY mah). So I clicked NO on declaration form. It is really a NO if I follow the "food" definition. But according to the officer, they are considered food. Of course they are food, we put them into mouth and consume, but it was not the "food" as you layout on the form. But of course I dare not say like that. I just keep quiet. And then she said, "Just remember to say Yes next time if you bring them in again next time. Welcome home." The last phrase "welcome home" is really warm... But then I got home and realized our passports are not stamped. I am very very worried she forgot to stamp, but I can't do anything now. Wait see how next time. They always surprises us with the mistake they make. Don't make me start on the income tax mistakes they made last year.... Think of it also make me older by 2 years.... sigh...
I need summer to cheer me up!!!!!! My brother is getting married in May in San Frans, so that's something I look forward to.
ngiaooooooooooooooooooo
p/s: on a happy note - I bought a new Lumix camera. yay!! And I was planning to declare it but it was not asked for. Hmm.................... why why why??
